Professional Photos are In!

After checking my email nearly every 10 minutes this past week, Ingrid finally emailed us our set of professional photos from our wedding in Vegas. I know, it's the only thing that I've blogged about this past month.. I promise I'll be more interesting in a few weeks when I can actually concentrate on other things.

If you want to view the photos, go to ImagesByIngrid.com. Then Click on Online Orders and find my name. You'll then get into our slideshow accompanied by wedding music (woohoo - turn it up). Then click on View Images and Order Photos and you'll get to look at our sets. Let me know if it doesn't work. You may have to install Flash, but most browsers have that already installed. The Username is 'imagesbyingrid' and the password is 'love'.

Overall I'm pretty happy with them. I've never seen so many huggy photos at a wedding before. The Bride and Groom session was really amusing. The song "VOGUE" was running through my head the entire time we were doing the poses. I sooo can't keep a serious face. Also, kinda funny - my false eyelashes are not doing so hot towards the end of the night. I suspected it, but at that time I was too distracted to do anything about it.

Oh and I've added links to most of the other photo albums on our wedding website.

hello RSVPs? Where are you?

That's generally what I ask everyday, as we are nearing the 2 weeks before the due date of our wedding RSVPs - so if you haven't returned yours, it's time to get a move on. It's no wonder why weddings have become a multimillion dollar industry. It's a tall order when it comes to planning a huge party, lose weight, and look radiant on the day of. There are all these services that cater to the bride.. even a RSVP service that takes the stress out of keeping count of the guests.

We have done a lot of stuff already, and are well ahead of the game.. according to my checklist on the knot, but still much to think about, in terms of the little details. Currently, we're trying to decide on the wedding procession and I'm working on our partial DIY favors. I'm even stressing on whether to get our names printed on ribbons. HA. The great thing that has saved most of my friends from having to hear about my wedding stress is the community of knotties on the knot. People post messages like they are in a chat room... if you have a question about where to buy dollies for luminaries ( a martha stewart idea), you get atleast 10 responses within 10 minutes.. It's impressive. I've spent an embarrasing number of hours going over knottie bios, pulling ideas from here and there. So far the weddings held in Hawaii or in Jamaica are most impressive. The colors are vibrant, the weather is perfect, and everyone seems to have a lot of fun. Hopefully I can reproduce the same in Vegas. I just have to keep on telling myself that as long as Justin and I end up married at the end of the day, everything will be just fine.
