Visual Cues.

Happy Belated Cyber Monday!

Ever since I've worked at Amazon, there's been ongoing discussions on how people respond to images. We did several rather interesting brain-storming sessions with Udi Manber (once former CEO) on image search, and when A9 launched with an Image search column, the positive response was overwhelming. Google even launched a similar web/image search UI with searchmash.com. Today in all the online shopping madness I came across Imagini, a site that presents the user with a series of visual cues and decides on the makeup of your Visual DNA. I'm not sure how expansive the catalog is, but I liked everything that they suggested... until I found out that the prices were all in Euros.. and I realized that I couldn't afford anything.

Sport Kit sensor pouches for the non-Nike runner

So just to prove to Peter from my posting about Nike, here are your photo proofs of pouches that you can get for the Sport Kit sensor. Justin just went to the apple store, and apparently they didn't have them, but they are all over the internet. Happy Shopping..

I'm a few days late in the annoucement, my team finally publicly launched our ad network aimed at providing service providers a way at getting in on the cash-o-la. We are now accepting applications.

Launch of Mojiti

The one stop shop for online videos.. my friend Eric decided to jump off the Microsoft ship and start a new online video portal. I haven't had a chance to play around with it too much but it's got a ranking mechanism much like YouTube. They have an interesting feature called the Spot Ticker which allows the person that loaded up the video to put 'notes' about the video while it is playing. Anyways, see for yourself and let him what you think.
