hello RSVPs? Where are you?

That's generally what I ask everyday, as we are nearing the 2 weeks before the due date of our wedding RSVPs - so if you haven't returned yours, it's time to get a move on. It's no wonder why weddings have become a multimillion dollar industry. It's a tall order when it comes to planning a huge party, lose weight, and look radiant on the day of. There are all these services that cater to the bride.. even a RSVP service that takes the stress out of keeping count of the guests.

We have done a lot of stuff already, and are well ahead of the game.. according to my checklist on the knot, but still much to think about, in terms of the little details. Currently, we're trying to decide on the wedding procession and I'm working on our partial DIY favors. I'm even stressing on whether to get our names printed on ribbons. HA. The great thing that has saved most of my friends from having to hear about my wedding stress is the community of knotties on the knot. People post messages like they are in a chat room... if you have a question about where to buy dollies for luminaries ( a martha stewart idea), you get atleast 10 responses within 10 minutes.. It's impressive. I've spent an embarrasing number of hours going over knottie bios, pulling ideas from here and there. So far the weddings held in Hawaii or in Jamaica are most impressive. The colors are vibrant, the weather is perfect, and everyone seems to have a lot of fun. Hopefully I can reproduce the same in Vegas. I just have to keep on telling myself that as long as Justin and I end up married at the end of the day, everything will be just fine.
